Work with us

Become a tutor

Help ambitious students develop the confidence, judgement, and skills to communicate their architectural potential.

Who we are looking for

We welcome expressions of interest from architecture educators and practitioners with a strong academic background, thoughtful design judgement, and the ability to explain complex ideas with clarity and patience.

Relevant experience may include architecture practice, university teaching, studio tutoring, portfolio mentoring, admissions support, writing, interviewing, or work across adjacent creative disciplines.

The work

Tutors may support project development, drawing and model making, portfolio structure and page design, personal statements, critical discussion, and interview preparation. Most work is one-to-one and can be delivered online.

Matching is based on a student's interests, needs, target courses, and the tutor's particular educational and professional experience.

Professional standards

Tutors must maintain academic integrity, professional boundaries, dependable communication, and a clear commitment to safeguarding. Work should remain the student's own, with teaching focused on building independence rather than producing outcomes for them.

References, identity and eligibility checks, and safeguarding or background checks may be required according to the role and the students involved.

How to apply

Email a concise introduction, CV, examples of relevant professional or teaching work, and your areas of specialist interest to enquiries@thearchitectureeducationstudio.com.
