Terms and conditions

Last updated 29 June 2026

1. Our services

The Architecture Education Studio provides architecture application tuition, portfolio development, writing support, interview preparation, and related educational guidance. The scope, tutor, timetable, and intended outcomes will be agreed before a programme begins.

Tuition supports the application process but cannot guarantee admission, interview selection, examination results, or any particular academic outcome.

2. Bookings, fees, and cancellations

Website prices are guide fees. The final fee, payment schedule, session allowance, and any package-specific cancellation terms will be confirmed in writing before payment is requested.

A booking is confirmed when the agreed payment has been received. If either party needs to reschedule, reasonable notice should be given. Any refund or credit will follow the written terms supplied for that booking.

3. Sessions and participation

Students should attend punctually, complete agreed work between sessions, and communicate respectfully. A parent or guardian must approve tuition arrangements for any student under 18.

Online sessions may use third-party video, file-sharing, and creative collaboration platforms. Students are responsible for suitable equipment, internet access, and keeping their account details secure.

4. Student work and intellectual property

Students retain ownership of their original work. Tutors may annotate, discuss, and temporarily store submitted material only as needed to provide tuition. Studio teaching resources remain the property of their respective creator and may not be redistributed without permission.

Student work, names, or testimonials will not be used publicly without appropriate permission and, for students under 18, parent or guardian consent.

5. Academic integrity and responsibility

Our role is educational. Tutors guide, question, edit, and develop skills; they do not produce application work on a student's behalf. The student remains responsible for the accuracy, originality, authorship, and timely submission of every application document.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, responsibility will be limited to losses that are a reasonably foreseeable result of a failure to provide the agreed service with reasonable care and skill.

6. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as our services develop. The terms supplied when a booking is confirmed will apply to that booking.
